Not a stranger to P. S. Cafe and it's various outlets (reviews here and here), all done in exquisitely beautiful settings with chandelier lights and lush greenery etc. The new outlet at One Fullerton has the added advantage of the Singapore River, enhancing it's ambience a notch.
Service was good, especially by section manager Maricel. Ambience was definitely lovely , touches of nature in subtly elegant settings. Menu comprise of many items, ranging from local delights (think Laksa and Prawn Noodles) to burgers, pastas and pizzas etc.
Both my friends opted for the signature P. S. Burger (SGD$22.00) - crispy toasted sesame buns clasping juicy, succulent beef patty (Wagyu and US chuck), vintage Cheddar, Onions, crispy Bacon, tomato and wilted spinach.
One of them changed the fries to P. S. Cafe's famous Shoestring Truffle Fries (SGD$5.00) - lightly infused with truffles' earthly aroma but not overpowering.
The other opted for the Crispy Smashed Potatoes - crackling and flavorful.
I settled for Spicy King Prawn Aglio Olio (SGD$29.00) - a little punch of spiciness with gentle aroma of fresh herbs, springy Spaghettini and bouncy Tiger Prawns. Sesame bread crumbs added bite to the dish.
Another must-have here would be the Sticky Date Pudding (SGD$15.00) steamed to a fluffy perfection tossed in a pool of toffee sauce.
Other desserts that seem enticing include Flourless Orange Cake, Key Lime Pie, Marshmallows Chocolate Cake etc.
A glass of Pinot Noir (SGD$22.00), Oakridge Over the Shoulder, Yarra Valley - smooth and fruity with the slightest hint of oak.
The Cuppaccino (SGD$6.50) was rich and tasty, concluding the meal beautifully.
Overall dining experience here at P. S. Cafe @ One Fullerton was super - service, views and scrumptious food - we had them all.
