Dinner at The Pelican Seafood Bar and Grill @ One Fullerton

I visited The Pelican Seafood Bar and Grill some years back and enjoyed the food as well as alfresco views, offering unbridled admiration of Marina Bay Sands and its evening laser shows.

Therefore, I decided to revisit for dinner with The Beau. We were served by manager Vik whose service was thoughtful and impeccable. The rest of the crew was also polite and attentive, enhancing our dining experience tremendously.

Interior decor was cosy and pretty; but we opted for the great outdoors dining by the river and enjoying people watching. Menu items were pretty limited with a focal on seafood and grilled items.

We started with 2 glasses of Red Wine followed by Kronenberg 1664 Beers. They were having one-for-one Happy Hours promotion till 9.00pm.

The Classic Lobster Bisque (SGD$22.00) had a deep, strong aroma of lobster and the soup had a good, smooth texture to it. Included in the savory-sweet soup were small pieces of orange that added touches of zest to it; very refreshing.

For mains, he went for the Ribeye Steak (SGD$58.00), served with crispy thick-cut fries and salad on the side. At 280grams, the steak fillet was huge, but each cut was easy on the blade; extremely tender (despite being medium well) and delectable with smokey hints to it.

Finally, my Lobster Burger (SGD$58.00), a delightful item with the crispiest burger buns ever. Clasped between were candied bacon amd cheese-coated lobster, the latter succulent and springy. Combine all these into one giant bite, and be happily overwhelmed by great taste and textures. Sides of thick cut fries and salad were served.

Overall dining experience here at The Pelican Seafood Bar and Grill was nothing short of fantastic, created by good food, excellent service and stunning views.
