I was finally meeting *N for catching up, somewhere near our current residences, so we decided on Blooie's Roadhouse, a vibrant bistro bar concept serving Western dishes and drinks. They currently have 2 outlets - one at Upper Bukit Timah and one at Siglap area.

I loved the dim, pub-like setting. Service varied from average to excellent, depending on which crew member served us. Menu comprised pub grub such as Calamari, New Zealand Mussels, Chicken Wings, Pork Knuckle, Burgers, Pasta, Pizzas, etc. To be honest, everything looked tempting to us.

Appetizer was a plate of BBQ Chicken Wings (SGD$15.90), good serving of 4 whole wings, halved for us. We chose the Spicy BBQ sauce which gave the tender, moistened chicken wings a lovely fiery kick.

Then we had Fish & Chips (SGD$18.80), a huge, crispy slab of sweet-fleshed fish deep-fried to a gorgeous golden hue. Served on the sides were fries and coleslaw.

For drinks, we had rounds of San Miguel Light (SGD$8.80), Heineken (SGD$10.80), and Mojito (SGD$9.60) - happy hour pricing 6.00pm to 8.00pm.

Overall dining and chilling experience here at Blooie's Roadhouse was enjoyable; relaxed vibes with unpretentious but tasty food, as well as good variety of drinks.
