Dinner at Pince and Pints @ Duxton

32 - 33 Duxton Road, Singapore 089496
Tel: 6225 7558

Most of you are no stranger to Pince & Pints, I believe? That famous lobster joint, that garners a long queue and serves up delicious lobster dishes. Well, I have heard them for years, and am happy that I finally got to try them tonight.

A cosy restaurant along Duxton's shophouses, Pince and Pints restaurant exudes that All-American feel (think booth seats and pop-art walls), done in shades of red and cream.

Service was very polite and the crew was ever attentive, although we were seated right at the corner, beside the locked glass sidedoor. Menu comprised mostly lobster items, of course - Lobster Salad, Lobster Roll, Lobster Noodle, and Lobster Mac & Cheese, etc.

We started with drinks; she had the Hoegaarden (SGD$14.00) while I enjoyed a refreshing glass of Lychee Prosecco (SGD$25.00).

The Lobster Roll (SGD$58.00) - springy lobster pieces with garlic aioli to complement, clasped between toasted bun and served with Chef's Salad and Straight Cut Fries on the side.

The Live Whole Lobster (SGD$58.00) could be dine grilled or steamed; I chose the former method. Sweet-fleshed and fresh, the bouncy flesh exuded a light hint of smokiness, and was utterly delicious. The lobster was served with Chef's Salad and Straight Cut Fries as well.

The meal was extremely satisfying and I enjoyed it immensely. Looking forward to being back for more of those Lobster delicacies.
