Recently I was thrilled to be invited to the opening ceremony of Kimoto Gastro Bar at The Sail Condo. It is a cosy sake bar serving Japanese food and lots of sake (Japanese rice wine) of course

This is the owner Adrian's first outlet. He started out distributing sake to different restaurants and retailers, and was finally able to open his own restaurant with some partners.

We mainly had light bites and finger food as the main gist were the Asahi Beers and Sake drinks. There is a sake menu here so you can imagine how many types you can choose from.

We enjoyed some Ebi Tempura (SGD$9.00 for 3 / SGD$15.00 for 5), Deep-fried Squid (SGD$15.00), Maldon Sea Salt Edamame (SGD$4.00) and Kushiyaki Omakase (SGD$22.00) for 6 sticks of grilled foodstuff.
