Heard about Kith Cafe years ago, when they'd just started at Park Mall, but never had the chance to visit the outlet at Millenia Walk when lunching with *Sharona.
Kith Cafe emphasizes on simple, honest food served from the heart, as well as the importance of company regardless of how we are related to each other, forming the same (coffee loving?) culture.
The cafe is divided into 2 sections - a dining area with square-top tables and booth seats, and a more bench-style area with charging points. Custom-made furniture facilities flexibility and interaction as well as comfort within the cafe. Menu was rather varied - from hot soups to cold salads to pastas, mains as well as desserts. Service was excellent and executed with professionalism and politeness. One tends to feel right at home here.
*Sharona went for the Chicken Set (SGD$19.00) comprising of tender chicken with a dash of arrabiata sauce, nearly al-dente aglio olio linguine and vegetables.
I had the Seared Tuna Salad (SGD$18.00) - a huge plate of sesame dressed baby spinach leaves, fresh-cut chilli, cherry tomatoes and generous slices of seared, soy-sesame tuna. It was a refreshing yet delectable dish, very appetizing.
Tiramisu (SGD$8.00) came in a bowl - creamy, fluffy even, redolent in coffee aroma but lacking in alcohol's flavour (I did not ask if there was any, to begin with).
For drinks, the Iced Earl Grey Lavender Orange (SGD$6.50) was pretty delectable, though the orange infusion was nearly non-existent. But the floral scent of lavender complemented the slightly "ashey" Earl Grey taste and this cooling drink had me sipping non-stop.
Overall, this is a nice place to hang out at, and enjoy catching up over a meal or two; as there are charging points and free wifi as well, people seeking a comfortable workspace can also find this place to be rather inviting. In light of upcoming Halloween, the café is even decked out for the occasion with ghastly decoration and pumpkin paper lanterns all over, basking in the festivity.
