Today is your day,
She dons lace and satin,
Perfumed by Givenchy,
Waiting with candlelit cake,
And your favorite Chardonnay,
Touched with her smile.
Midnight comes and goes,
The shine in her eyes dims,
Counting the ticking minutes,
As gleam of tears replaces,
What could've been happiness,
Even when it doesn't look like love.
Today is your day,
Your arms are around,
A fair lady and a dark beauty,
Wondering who should be savored.
You yearn to kiss their lips,
And from their legs, take sips.
The one waiting at home,
Weeps silently with her wine.
Polishes off the full bottle,
Wishing she could break free,
But wishing even more,
For love to reciprocate.
