[Poem] Of Questions

What if one day,
You forgot my name,
Or I forgot your face,
And we pass each other by,
In the very streets
Where our paths crossed?

Why'd you remember the photos,
The details you should elude,
Blank canvasses of the past;
When did you last go through them?
Was I wearing anything at all,
Where'd your eyes focus?

I'd played out so many scenes,
Feeling you in every one of them,
I need my own theatrette;
I'd written so many stories,
With the 'what-if's and various endings,
You should read them in my arms someday.
