What: Inferno is a 2016 movie based on Dan Brown's mystery thriller titled "Inferno"

Who: The cast comprises of Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon, Felicity Jones as Dr. Sienna Brooks, Ben Foster as Bertrand Zobrist, Sidse Babette Knudsen, Omar Sy as Christoph Bouchard, Irrfan Khan as Harry Sims, and Ana Ularu as Vayentha.

Duration: 121 minutes

Directed by: Ron Howard.

Sypnosis: Sequel to award-winning movies "Da Vinci Code" and "Angels and Demons", this movie centered around Dante's Nine Circles of Hell. Over-population is the key concern here with plots to reduce the num er of people through a mass matyr by viruses, and World Health Organization is hot on the heels of those associated with madman millionaire Zobrist.

The movie goes on to unfold more twists and parodies as Robert Langdon the Symbologist tries to decide on who to trust, living with amnesia, false memories and lots of horror scenes (think bleeding nuns). As with the previous 2 movies in this sequel, Langdon never fails to be romantically-involved with some female.

Thoughts: pretty captivating plot with suitable twists and turns to keep audience perched on the edge of their seats. This movie pans out like a cross between one of those mankind-elimination flicks and a horror film. Expect gruesome scenes and betrayals as well as the beauty of museums in Rome and Istanbul. I liked "Inferno" the movie, and must put forth the disclaimer that this review is partial and free from influence of the novel itself which I have not read (yet).
