There are currently 3 outlets in Singapore - Chevron House, Asia Square and Star Vista (opening soon) - we chose to visit the former branch being the closest to our respective workplaces. That said, the menus comprise of a variety of soft-shelled tacos, hard-shelled tacos, burrito bowls, burrito wraps, quesadillas, nachos and salads.
We both had the Hard Shell Tacos (SGD$8.50 for 2 / SGD$11.50 for 3), and we had fish for the fillings - sautéed fish in GYG's guerrero marinade with pico de gallo and roasted tomato salsa. In short, the hard corn tortilla shells were crispy and really lovely to bite on; the fish was springy and scrumptious in flakey slices. The marinade and salsa gave it a slight zesty boost; the combination was utter bliss. It was also the first time I'd had a fish taco.
Even as I am writing it now, I am having craving for these tacos now. Oh, also, they have this extra spicy dark-brown sauce on the side that you should try too. I will definitely be back for more authentic, tasty and simple Mexican delight here!
