Dinner at WIld Honey

Having heard some friends and clients raving about Wild Honey and the awesome all-day breakfasts, I knew I absolutely had to drop by this place. I love breakfast sets, but unfortunately, unable to enjoy on working days; and on weekends I seldom wake up early enough to indulge in sumptuous breakfast sets.

See, I mentioned in an earlier post about the newly-renovated Mandarin Gallery and the spoilt-for-choices eateries here! So, yes, Wild Honey is also located at Mandarin Gallery, 333A Orchard Road #03-02 Singapore 238897. They do not take reservations at this outlet, even though their Scotts Square outlet does.

I went with *Charliez and *Jacinta for a girls' night out.

The restaurant had a slight queue, so we waited for about 20 minutes before we had a table. The interior is cosy and quietly-elegant, complete with brick walls and cushy seats. It feels like one of those European cafes.

We placed orders for our meals, and the food arrived pretty fast.

*Charliez had the Signature dish here - English Breakfast set - the full works of scrambled egges, back bacon, Cumberland pork sausage, sauteed mushrooms, baked beans, breakfast potatoes, grilled vine tomatoes and brioche.

I had the Scandinavian Breakfast set - comprising of grilled salmon fillet on crispy potato rosti, asparagus, tomatoes and Hollandise sauce. It was very delicious. The salmon was superbly grilled so that it was still tender, and the rosti was crispy as the description in the menu.

*Jacinta had the New York Breakfast set - scrambled eggs with caramelized onions, smoked salmon, sesame bagel and cream cheese.

The portions were large for the price, and all of us enjoyed the quality treats very much. The quality, taste and decoration of the food is commendable, as well as the lovely ambience ideal for enjoyment of a slow, sumptuous meal.

We spent about SGD$30.00 per person.
