Scented candles, perfumed dresses,
Diamonds and pearls at her disposal;
Coiffed hair and Guerlain red lips,
Lending a pout not meant to be sensual.
Cigars and Whiskey are her vice,
Taken like a man twice her age,
She wakes up with tears on her lashes,
And goes to bed filled with bruises.
Behind the scenes of all this luxury,
Where life should be savoured to its fullest;
What secret weighs heavy
Upon her heart?
