Have you seen a meteor?
A rain shower of falling stars,
All the hopes dashing to the floor,
Like broken arrows of violent wars.
And have you heard hopes dash?
Like the way the Gods' swords clash,
Seeming like bolts of lightning flash;
Shattering like painter's careless splash.
Have you written works while drunk?
Waking to see debris that have sunk,
Deep into the memory tree's trunk,
Breaking hearts to shards of meteor junk.
